'48 FM' (a name inspired by the bus line to Sart Tilman) has promoted a student radio in the heart of the city.
48 FM had its 10th anniversary on 6 March 2004. Since that same day the students' radio has broadcast 16 hours a day from its website www.48fm.com
As it desisted from claiming its own frequency, the association successfully turned to the web and thus spreads its cheerfulness in the city and beyond. It offers a lot of music with some cultural or didactic features, but without any advertisements.
The radio station is located on the 3rd floor of Maison de la Fédé, Place du 20-Août and is open to all (with an obvious priority to students). It is currently and recurrently looking for motivated collaborators, so if you'd like to try your hand at playing compère or DJ, or radio technician, or webmaster for a rich and varied website, do not hesitate and join the 48 FM team!
Webradio broadcasts on the Internet www.48fm.com, every day from 10am to 2am.
