Preparing your departure
Do not forget before leaving...

  1. Discuss the courses you intend to take in Liège with your coordinator in your home university

  2. Get in touch with your ULg coordinator to check whether you can actually take those courses

  3. Send the on-line application form to our Erasmus Office before 15 May 2007 and your printed Application Form duly signed and stamped by your coordinator before 31 May 2007;

    students applying for the second term have to send the on-line Application Form it before 1 November 2007 and the printed and signed Application Form before 15 November 2007.

    All applications must be made online for 2007-2008.

    A statement of your marks in 2006-2007 is to be handed in on arrival for students coming for the first term or to be sent along with the application form for students coming for the second term.

  4. If you need a visa to enter Belgium, take the necessary steps with the Belgian embassy in your home country (with a letter of acceptance that you will send as soon as we receive your application form)

  5. If you need a room in a hall of residence (less than 6 months), send a form to the accommodation office attached to your letter of acceptance. Do this as soon as possible and at the best 40 days before arriving in Liège.

  6. If you wish to meet a local student who will guide you along, send the relevant form

  7. Ask your health insurance fund for an E128 form (for EU students)

  8. Subscribe to a supplementary "tous risques" insurance

  9. To help you revive your prior knowledge and prepare for the assessment of competence level at the beginning of the course we offer an online course with grammar exercises as well as reading and listening comprehension exercises.
