Bus lines 48 and 58 take you from downtown to Sart Tilman and around the various buildings on the campus. They both leave from the Opera house. Their use different routes, only line 48 stops at the main station.
The Belgian Railway Company (SNCB, Société nationale des chemins de fers belges), tel. 04 229 2610, offers various cut-price formulas to travel in Belgium and Europe. Here are some of the most commonly used. You can find more on their website http://www.b-rail.be/ or at the railway station.
GO PASS
If you are under 26, your Go Pass entitles you to ten 2nd class single journeys for only € 41.50; so one single journey only costs € 4.15.
The Go Pass solution is particularly advantageous for longer journeys between two Belgian stations.
You can use your Go Pass from Monday to Friday as of 9.01 am.
This limitation does not apply :
- on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
- every day in July and August
- from 24/12 to 02/01 inclusive

MULTI PASS
Can be interesting if you travel in Belgium in groups of 2 to 5 people.
BENELUX TOURRAIL card
Roaming through the Benelux for five days in one month at a bargain price of 95 € (under 26) or 126 € (over 26).
BIJ BILLET
This ticket can be bought by people under 26 travelling in 23 European countries and Morocco. It entitles you to substantial reductions.
