The AUXINS

Types :
IAA : indolyl-3-acetic acid

Samples necessary :
The analyses (of all auxins simultaneously) are made with samples of
500 mg of fresh or frozen (by liquid nitrogen) materials
Three analyses are generally advised.

Technics :
The measurement are made by HPLC using the natural fluorescence of auxins.
The detection threshhold is in the order of 5 nmol/g of fresh material.

The detection threshhold is in the order of 100 nmol/g fresh material.

Technics :
The measurement are made by gas chromatography.
The detection threshhold is in the order of 0.01 mm³/g fresh material for ethylene and 0.1 mm³/g for the CO2.
