Expertise and Research Topics

The CREMAN is the NMR Center of the University of Liege, and the expertise and experience of the staff members are quite diverse including chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical and material science NMR studies.

Typical applications include:

* Synthesis and characterization of lanthanide and actinide complexes as contrast agents for MRI
* Study of pharmacoactive substances
* Characterization of polymers and copolymers in solution and in the solid state
* Study of polymerisation mechanisms
* Characterization of inorganic, hybrid and (nano)composite materials in the solid state
* Structure elucidation of organic compounds
* Structure and dynamics of (macro)biomolecules.
