The delimited area is of 4000 m² environ inside which is located the test zone separated from the 'safe zone' by 3m high earth walls stabilized by 50 cm reinforced concrete panels

The test zone is now of 100m² area and could be extended later

BUILDINGS:

• a delimited surface of 4000 m² in uninhabited zone

• a test zone of 8.5 x 11 m with :

  • the test room itself

  • a secondary room

• protective walls for the test zone made of reinforced concrete 0.5 m thick and hillocks 3m high and 7m wide

• a control place located at 30 m from the test zone

• a zone for the cryotechnic fluid and pressurised gas storage

FLUIDS:

• Tankage of cryotechnic fluids and gases: LOX and LN2
                  Gas: He, N2, N2 (dry for clean purge)

• Fluid feed lines, the characteristics are:
    - 1 LOX line   2.5Kg/s at 15 m/s  | 25 bar
    - 1 LN2 line   1 Kg/s at 15 m/s  | 25 bar
    - 1 GN2 line   1000Nm³/h   | 25 bar
    - 1 GN2 (dry for purge) line   350 Nm3/h   | 30 bar
    - 2 GHe lines    350 Nm³/h   | 30 bar

DATA ACQUISITION AND CONTROL:

A computerised system will provide fully remote control and data acquisition with rates up to 1000 measures per second and per channel. Capacity of at least 600s at 1000 samples/s on 64 high rate channels and indefinite sampling on 256 low rate (~5 samples/s) channels

SECURITY-SURVEILLANCE:

Surveillance by video camera piloted from the command room
